Sewage Business Management Centre, SBMC was established in 1991 to
	contribute to the improvement of living environment and the preservation
	of water quality in public water bodies by conducting several activities such
	as research and investigation regarding sewage facility construction,
	management, and planning and also to contribute to the effective promotion
	of sewage works construction and maintenance by cooperating and
	supporting with the activities of Japan Sewage Works Agency.
	In addition to these activities, since 1999 SBMC has organized "Sewage
	Works Engineering II" technical training course for technical engineers
	in developing countries implemented by Japan International Cooperation
	Agency (JICA) under official development assistance (ODA) extended by
	the Japanese Government. SBMC has managed the training course in
	close cooperation with Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport
	(MLIT), and Japan Sewage Works Agency (JS).
